90s films, Water Parks and Sick Days #LittleLoves 19/52

Hey friends, I'm currently writing this in a severe feeling-sorry-for-myself state. I spent twelve hours from Wednesday afternoon through to 4am throwing up every half hour. Pleasant, I know. I imagine I picked it up at work (the curse of GP's staff), but it also means I can't work right now. I spent most of today (Thursday) in bed with a lot of aches and pains, but I've finally managed a few hours of sleep and I am on the mend. Ish. Anyway, moving on from this rather disgusting update about my life, here's this weeks Little Loves.

    Read
I'm still reading Quiet and loving it. Highly recommend it for any introverts out there who have ever felt a little unsure of themselves in our very loud world.

    Watched
I've just finished binge-watching the past four seasons of Orange is the New Black in preparation for season 5 (here in June guys, are we excited?). I did watch the ultimate sick-day film as Netflix put Matilda up. She was my childhood hero.

    Heard
I've been doing a lot of podcast listening lately and I am particularly enjoying ones from Glamour, The Pool and Scroobius Pip's Distraction Pieces. I find them great for the bus ride to work as sometimes reading at 7am on a noisy, moving vehicle.

    Made
Literally nothing, except lunch! This shouldn't be much of a surprise anymore... my arts degree is laughing at me lately.

    Wore
I have nothing to report here as I've spent the past couple of days in pyjamas in bed, so no pretty pictures unfortunately. I've had a few parcels through this week though, so I'll have some new stuff for next week. I did that thing where I bought a lipstick online to bump up the basket and get free delivery (everyone does this right?) and then put it in my bag and went on my day. When emptying said bag, I found three lipsticks in there all practically the exact same shade of purple. I guess I know what I like.

    Did
We didn't get up to much last weekend, just odd jobs, but as it's been so sunny lately, we did take a trip to Sale Water Park to get some much needed Vitamin D and have a bit of a walk. As my energy levels are so unpredictable lately, we don't get to go on walks half as much as we'd like to anymore, so it's always nice when we can.

    2. Hi, I hope you're feeling better soon :) I've had the cold for days which has been annoying but throwing up is definitely worse! I love Matilda and I really need to get my hands on "Quiet", I feel like I could really relate :)

      Great post!
