Read
I'm still reading Laura Bates' book, Girl Up alongside a lot of January and February issues of various magazines, including Slimming World, Cosmo and Glamour.
Heard
I've literally not heard any new music this week and have been binging on my 'Top Songs of 2016' playlist that Spotify made for me. There's a surprising amount of James Blake on there. And weirdly there's a Hillsong song on there too, which is weird considering I haven't listened to Hillsong since I was fifteen and gave up on Christian music almost cold turkey. Jay denies using my account too, so who knows what happened there.
Watched
Firstly, there's a new series of the Great Interior Design Challenge on iplayer and nobody told me. Smh. It's excellent, though I dislike Kelly Hoppen. She has a very dull style if you ask me and she's far too critical.
More importantly, there' another Jen Kirkman stand up gone up on Netflix. She's a very funny lady and you should go watch it.
Made
I've been very uncreative this week, excluding a thorough declutter of the entire house, but I am currently making a chickpea and spinach curry for tonight. Which is pretty much the only thing I can cook well.
Wore
I put an outfit post up this week, which hopefully you've already seen.
Did
I haven't done very many exciting things this week, but I did take my niece to see Moana last weekend. Now, I'm not a great Disney lover or kids film lover in general, but this one is pretty good. It got approval from me, Jay and my eight year old niece, which is good.
I'm also currently puppy-sitting and have a tiny dog running around my ankles right now. If you follow me on twitter or instagram you'll get lots of cute photos there. @Marthamylove_
I love that outfit and off to check our the full post. You look very stylish I love that yellow colour ato the moment it sounds to be quite popular. The curry sounds yummy and very healthy. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was a very tasty curry. :) x
DeleteLove those yellow shoes! I've loved listening to the Moana soundtrack, but am yet to see it. Enjoy your weekend! xx
ReplyDeleteI did enjoy the music of it, despite not being a huge disney fan. My niece loved it all! x

DeleteOoh, thanks for the Netflix recommendation, always looking for good stuff to watch on there! That outfit is gorgeous, you look great. Loooove the yellow shoes. I can never wear yellow and it makes me sad, but it just hates my skin tone. I was also a big fan of Moana...and now can't get the songs out of my head, haha! Hope you had a great weekend :) #LittleLoves
ReplyDeleteLots of people seem to say that about yellow, so you're not alone! I sort of stopped caring about stuff like that and wear whatever colour makes me happy at the time. Or perhaps I'm just oblivious to wahat washes me out! x
DeleteI love the idea of a tiny puppy but would need to be able to give it back - I don't think I could handle one full time! LOVE your outfit - the shoes are gorgeous x
ReplyDeleteHe's my parents, so I am a part time puppy parent. More like a puppy auntie. He's very cute! But yes, a little exhausting. x
DeleteLoving your yellow shoes! I'm so dull and rarely wear anything colourful these days.
ReplyDeleteYour chickpea and spinach curry sounds good, you'll have to blog the recipe.
Hope you're having a good week xx
